Wheeler County Vacations & Trips from $1,027

Let me begin by saying I hardly ever leave bad reviews, but this hotel deserves everything I am about to say. I arrived to the hotel and the outside looked like I stepped back in the 70s. Paint coming off the walls, roof missing several panels over the pool, pool was dirty, wires hanging down from the pool roof, room door was very difficult to open...I had to ram it open with my shoulder every time I went in. Hotel sign said new 40 inch TVs in every room but they had NO TV service...no cable, no antenna, no streaming...nothing. TV was completely useless and I feel I should have been told that at check in as there were no refunds. I called about TV service and was told it got disconnected, which is UNACCEPTABLE for any hotel! Security was lacking on the property as the doors to the hallways were accessible by anyone just walking off the street...no locks. People not staying there just randomly walking around the hotel that made me feel very uncomfortable. The locks were broken on the sliding glass balcony door and the only way to secure it from intruders was with a stick. The smell of pot being smoked was very strong and came in under the room door and patio door every night. Front desk staff were not friendly, but housekeeping was very helpful and polite. I feel I was scammed on this reservation and will NEVER stay here again. I would not recommend anyone to ever stay here after my experience. I think this hotel needs a lot of work and renovations before any new guests.

Keep up the good work

Spotlessly clean room, great brea
